Towards the end of 2004, the digital format in music retailing began to form significant changes in the world market. The rise of newer consumer demographics whose lifestyle portability both at work and entertainment pave way for new listening systems, that which can take music anywhere, with convenience of purchase in the luxury of their workstations or even the bedrooms! Fliptunes Inc. was incorporated to develop the digital market on both web and mobile for Filipinos around the world.
Fliptunes.net, the first music portal began a comprehensive library of Filipino music to cater to Filipinos around the world. To further develop the local market the company formulated a sister site-- FliptunesPLUS.net which carried the largest collection of classics and current hits of international titles for online purchases made its way to local browsers. The local music scene, with its roster of world-class talents, now has a wider and newer market for their music. In 2008, FliptunesLITE.net was added in the family, this time on wap format to cater to Fliptunes fans on mobile. Today, local and international music is now available for devices with choices to download in either Windows Media, or AAC (i.e. I-pod) at their listening pleasure.
Today, Fliptunes Inc. not only carry the largest collection of music in its storage, but include music-videos, full-length movies (download or pay-per-view), podcasts, videokes, TV series, ringtones, with a choice of thousands of titles on demand.
